Hello everyone! I hope you're all having a smashing Thanksgiving! I have eaten lots and am pleasantly full. :)
I thought this week was going to be crazy hard with the protein, but I found the solution! Whey protein powder was my lifesaver. 26 grams of protein for 140 calories. I think I'll continue to take it once a day for awhile. I found that the extra protein kept me full for so much longer and I had fewer snack cravings. When I did feel like a snack I would grab a string cheese or apple with peanut butter, instead of my normal snacks of Halloween candy or oreos. I definitely think I made some good choices this week! I'm also proud of myself for getting in my workouts this week despite all odds, including waking up an extra 2 hours early to get to the gym before my daughter woke up and my husband went to work so I could workout before spending the day with family. way to go getting those workouts in! I am NOT a morning person so that is super impressive to me. :)
