Good Morning Ladies!
Well we are now in the middle of week 3 and I have to say that I am feeling pretty good about the week so far!
I usually struggle with working out and taking precious time away from my family on the weekends, so yesterday I took them along with me. We went to Monfort park and Paige rode her little scooter next to me while I walked/jogged and the boys played football in the middle area. It was a FANTASTIC compromise for all of us. After about a half hour I claimed my hubby and sent out kids to the park to play while we walked in circles and talked... it was such a nice time. So this week I have decided to work on figuring out ways to incorporate my work-outs with my family. If you have any suggestions, please pass them my way!

Family bike rides on the Poudre Trail...a lot of times my kids will join in with me when I do exercise videos at home...
ReplyDeleteI think that sounds wonderful! not only are you getting exercise the kids are too! Way to go! I don't know how old your kids are but all kids like those dance games on the gaming systems. My brothers family does that together often. Everybody gets their heart rate up! We have a kinect but my oldest is only 4 and he isn't quite tall enough to play it. it doesn't recognize such a little body!
ReplyDeleteWe love to play just dance at our house too. Also, when we all go to the park together we like to do races or play tag.
