Sneaking in workouts

I have been struggling with getting my workouts in. My 7 month old doesn't enjoy taking naps. He is a very social little man and doesn't want to miss out on anything I don't think. I can get maybe 2 naps at about an hour a piece. We also have that pergo flooring so me stepping in my gym shoes to a video has been waking him up. Yesterday I did 2 half hour videos one during each nap. (did you know you can get sore under your ribs??? Try Jillian Michaels 6 pack in 6 weeks. I found it on youtube. Wow!) Today I started the cool down on taebo cardio as he was waking up. SUCCESS!! Last week I tried waking up at 530 so I could workout before they woke up. But, they were both awake before 6 when I did that so I gave up on that tactic! This is quite a work in progress. So for my personal goal for the week I decided that I am going to clean house at a quick pace to make up for the lost calories from a workout. Burn calories, clean house. Win-win! Hopefully it works as planned! (Today I organized/cleaned the garage. 2.5 hours with 18 lbs on my back, woof!)

So, I have been using myfitnesspal.com for tracking my calories. I'm wondering if anybody wants to be my friend on there! I realize that a lot of you ladies are using lose it. But, I would love to have more people to follow. It motivates me to see people regularly as they exercise and complete their day. Makes me want to join in on the fun! My username is katsiemarie.     It's great you're figuring out what works and making that extra effort to get in a workout.

    I'm going to try that Jillian Michaels workout. It's fun to shake things up and try new stuff.

  6. Way to go Katie! It's hard a first to figure out how to fit workouts into your life. But once it becomes a habit, you wonder how you ever did without it.
