Week 3 for Me

Week 3 was busy!  I had company come to town to stay with us for most of last week and this week too.  I was still able to get all of my workouts in, but definitely didn't eat as well as I should.  It is hard to find a balance between being a gracious host and keeping the calorie goals.  When my first guests were here we had 4 extra growing boys around and I felt like I was cooking all the time to keep them fed.  I bought food at the store like cookies and chips that I normally don't buy...so of course I had to eat a few...

I'm looking forward to a new week!

I also have a question for all of you.  Do any of you have any low calorie, protein filled snacks to share?  Just trying to get a few new ideas around here.

  1. My favorite snack is carrot sticks or red pepper slices with hummus, but roasted almonds are probably higher in protein. :)

  2. I really like a banana sliced up on top of 1/2 cup cottage cheese. I also really like the Kroger brand vanilla greek yogart. High in protein with a side of fruit or almonds.

  3. I know it's not very glamorous, but a boiled egg! I put some hot sauce on it and go to town!
