I CAN!
This last week was rough. I got two days of full workout points and a lot of zero working out! The week started with the flu for myself and one child and ended with all three of us having colds and pink eye thrown in too! Talk about eventful! So while I couldn't workout much I was still good with logging my food and staying within my calorie allotment ( except for that one night... darn emotional eating!) I did gain .6 lb, but I still lost 2 inches overall. I see that while I can't get all (or even close to it...) the points, what I CAN do will still make a difference! Every bit of effort I can afford will pay off in some results. So while I have been in the habit of focusing on what I am not good at and what I can't do, I CAN do some things. It may take longer to see the results that I want. But, I can still see the results that I want, someday. I am really starting to see positive changes in my body. Other people are starting to, too. And that makes me want to keep going. That and I just finished watching last nights episode of biggest loser. :)

ReplyDeleteAWESOME! I think that is one of the greatest thruths of health and fitness anyone can learn! We sometimes get into a rut thinking "if I can't do it all, I shouldn't try"....and that is a lie. Every little bit counts!!
