"I love to feel hungry"...

YA RIGHT?!  Ok, so my mom is on her own weight loss journey right now and she told me, "I love to feel hungry."  I had to think about this...but the feeling of being hungry really tells you when your body is ready to eat!  It also means you have more self control! Wow mom! What a deep thought!  So, I am trying to listen more to my body instead of the pantry! Ha, ha, ha!

I can't believe I was able to survive week one!  Working out was by far, the hardest!  I love to work out...but a hour at a time is really hard!  Thankfully we got our taxes done early and got a gym pass! Woo hoo!

So, for week 2...my personal goal...is to get dressed everyday! How sad is that?!  I like to work out in the morning, so I find myself staying in those work out clothes all day long.  And of course, If I don't get really dressed, I don't put make up on or really do my hair.  So-here is to a good looking week, no matter what my weight is!

  1. Something I started telling my kids when we lived in New York was that feeling hungry won't kill you. And I remind myself that as well, a little discomfort is okay!

  2. I always try to make sure I go to bed feeling a little hungry. It tells me that I didn't overdo it that day!

  3. I don't think it's a lame goal at all! I've noticed that I make better choices when I feel pretty, too. :)

  4. That darn pantry starts calling my name too... I am trying REALLY hard not to listen! :) I never thought about a little discomfort of being hungry being okay, but it makes sense!
