I had a great loss last week and have a crazy busy week this week so I'm afraid to see the scale next Friday.  To plan for everything and to keep me on track this week, my personal goal is to have a healthy snack on hand with me EVERYWHERE I go so I'm not tempted to cheat.  Tomorrow Dan and I are going on a hot date to a Hobbit movie screening in Denver (dressed up, of course as lovers Aragorn and Arwen:)) and you can bet my elf satchel will be filled with healthy snacks so I can avoid the sweet temptation of Movie Popcorn (one of my favorite snacks!!!).
I know most of you are really busy as well since the Holidays are right around the corner.  What things have been helping you stay on track while you're running around?

  1. How has the snacking gone? I have found a couple of healthy granola bars that I like. I measure out nuts and put them in snack size bags. I have celery, carrots, peppers, snap peas washed and cut up in the fridge. I bought some light string cheese sticks (they don't travel as well) but they're a quick grab when I come in hungry from somewhere. I've also been throwing an apple in my purse for emergencies. And I have been careful to bring water with me (have forgotten a couple times and really hatted that). A lot of times I find that my hunger will be abated with a good long swig of water. All of these things have helped me immensely.
