Well, I managed to make about 100 goodie boxes for employees at my husband's work and I didn't eat a single thing...it's a Christmas miracle!:)
The thing that has really helped me is to have healthy (ok, healthier) treats of my own available so I still feel like I'm spoiling myself and eating them in small servings. (Yikes! After typing that I realized that it sounds super princess-ey and high maintenance!!) Seriously, though, the truth is when I spend time doing or making something extra special just for me I really don't want to eat things that are hindering my weight loss and health goals.
So, here are two yummy "treats" that I have been enjoying this week:
Cherry Pie Fluff from The Better Baker
1 (20 ozs) can no sugar
added cherry pie filling
1 (4 serv. size) box sugar
free cheesecake pudding mix
8 ozs. fat free cool
whip
Combine cherry pie filling
with pudding mix. Fold in cool whip.
Chill and enjoy.
