I just wanted to say thanks for this weeks challenge.
I am one who likes repetition and likes feeling comfortable. So...this week for the challenge, I decided to get on the bike at the gym. You might be thinking, that's no biggie....but for me, it's huge.
I cannot ride a bike. Literally. I am scared to death. I crashed when I was 12 and haven't ridden since. So, I feel like riding the non-moving bike at the gym was a huge accomplishment. Ha ha. Sad, but true.
While I was riding, my foot slipped off the pedal...and I about peed my pants! I think my heart skipped a few beats and I was sweating heavily! Good thing I didn't fall off the stationary bike, or I think everyone around me would have died laughing.
So, again...thank you for helping me face one of my fears in a small non-moving way! :)

ReplyDeleteHope your trip goes great Megan! Good work getting on that bike. Maybe we can take a spin class together when you get back. I did it a bunch when I was pregnant and I loved it!
