I am so over logging my food. Not that I mind knowing what I'm consuming and how much, it's just such a tedious task to have to look up a recipe since I usually make everything from scratch. Much easier to scan store bought processed food's barcode with my phone, but packaged food is so much more unhealthy. :\
Unless it's your personal goal, you won't lose any points for just writing down everything you eat on a piece of paper and not worrying about the calories. Counting calories is optional! I like to do it so I have a ball park figure of what I'm consuming, but if it's getting to be too much it's okay to take a break.

ReplyDeleteI also make everything and rarely do I follow a recipe... I just kinda wing it. The nice thing about the apps is that you can put in your own recipes as you make them and next time you make it, it is just as easy as scanning it. but that is nice to know that it could be as simple as just writing it down!
